Kathy is one of bodybuilding's longest running stars- she started competing in the early-mid 80s and has continued to do so as recently as 2010. This work was done with her in 1993 when she was in near-contest shape, in town to do a strength contest. This is a bodybuilding posing video, and Kathy shows off very good definition, size, shapes and facial beauty (and great calves) while hitting the shots in swimsuits and dresses.

The Nationals is the top amateur contest of the year, generally featuring 100 or more of the top figure women in the US. Figure Classes A and B are for the shortest women, E and F for the tallest, and C and D for the medium height women. This was titled 'My First Video', and although Tina had done two videos for WPW, this was her first for Ray Martin. At about 5'8" she checked in at a huge 190 pounds, making her a fan favorite in the early 90s when she competed briefly. As for Doughdee Marie, Tina was only in contest shape a couple times, but gained her fame and fan club due to her immense off-season size, sporting 17" arms, 30" thighs and 19" calves (all measured in the video). A weight room was not available, so Cyndie "CJ" James made herself available as a 'human barbell' for calve raises, towel pulls, etc. Bodybuilding style posing is also included.

Figure Class B is the second shortest height class. The women do their quarter-turns in bikinis and high heels, and the field includes the top placers Danielle Reutter (winner and turns IFBB pro), Vickie Counts, Jennifer Smythe, Michelle DeRosa and Kerri Simpson. All photos by John Nafpliotis.

There are six figure divisions at the national events, ranging from the shortest Class A to the tallest, Class F. For about 10 years- from 1984 when we met her, to the mid 90's, Doughdee was one of our, and WPWs, favorite 'off season' bodybuilding model. She was only in contest shape a couple times in her early days, but then gained all of her fame due to her incredible size (varied between 140-180 pounds at 5'2"), facial beauty and unusual strength, including doing 'odd lifts'. This video, taped in 1993, was titled 'At Home With Doughdee' and shows a typical 'day in her life' including scenes hitting the heavy bag, punching bag, martial arts warm ups, handstands, flips and bodybuilding posing in many attractive outfits. Doughdee Marie - one of a kind, and there will never be another.

The North Americans features a Masters Division for Figure for women age 35 and over. There were two Masters Figure classes and all women from both are shown here. Included are the top three of Class A (Shannon Bennett, Tiffany Procopio and Jennifer Robinson) and Class B (Lisa Tanker, Wendy Bogard and Zonzie McLaurin).
